THE EDGE FOR HIRE

The EDGE is available! Not just at our regular performances but also for your group, your corporation or your private party. We have performed and taught at hundreds of private parties at people's homes, special corporate conventions, benefit auctions, etc. We can work for you, too.

One of our unique skills is corporate "training." We teach your company, from CEOs to entry-level workers, how to use improv skills in the work place. Frequently you'll find someone at one of your meetings who blocks suggestions and slows things down to a snail's pace. In improv we do what's called "yes, and...." It's a technique in which you accept an offer from a fellow performer and amplify on it, thus moving things forward. In performance, a good improviser will listen to an offer from another player and accept it and expand on it. If you were to do that in the workplace, think of the progress you'd make. And that's just one example of a technique we bring to your group.

We're not attempting to teach you to perform improv. We're just showing you how what we do can help you in business and in life. In our workshops we facilitate your group in playing several improvisational excercises, all to the purpose of improving your skills in relating, working together and letting go of your agenda. It's amazing how creative doors open to you.
